I have within the last three and half years initiated a number of visible developmental works including human capital development across the entire Hohoe constituency.
Hohoe’s road network is my current focus and I am working tirelessly to ensure that Hohoe town roads and roads that connects other communities to Hohoe are massively upgraded.
As a son of the land, I am committed to bringing development to my people hence the Hohoe road network is top of my agenda.
In this regard, I am happy to announce that work on two critical road networks for Hohoe has begun.
The first one is the 51.3 kilometers road network from Hohoe-Alabato junction to Have township. The engineers are currently on the Kledzo township stretch working; the completion of this stretch of the Eastern corridor road would enable travellers to Hohoe avoid the long route of going through Kpando. They would instead drive directly to hohoe.
Secondly, work has begun on a 15 kilometers asphaltic overlay on the Hohoe town roads and the engineers are currently working on the Kpeme and bungalow stretch. This project would improve the quality of the Hohoe town roads for all categories of users.
2020 NPP parliamentary candidate for Hohoe constituency, Hon. John-Peter Amewu’s Agenda for development continues unabated.
Furthermore, engineers are working day and night on other town roads in Hohoe including Picnic road, Vekusime road, Togbe Gboxo street , Hohoe-Fodome roads, Fodome-Gbledi roads, Fodome-Wli Todzi roads and Fodome-Wli roads. These roads are all being worked
on to improve the road network for Hohoe.
Thanks to H.E President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for keeping his word to the late Paramount Chief of the Gbi Traditional Council-Togbega Gabusu VI by ensuring that Hohoe town roads see a major facelift just as he promised.
2020 is indeed the year of roads!
